I read some of our old conversations today. We're terribly defeatist, you and I, but then again, I suppose we both feel the same need to prepare for the worst. Sometimes I wonder if I spelled things out on this page if they'd be different, if they'd make sense somehow by materializing here. What if things end the way you predict?

So much time spent with you. I don't want that to disappear. It seems that this is an impossibility. Will it be something that I just remember fondly years from now?

I can't think of it anymore.
