The search to find yourself is basically futile. Where do you go to find yourself? People say to be yourself, like yourself is something sure, something certain. Something concrete and tangible. Something to drag out from the dusty closet when all other alternatives are exhausted. Yourself: Your own last resort. Something that you can always fall back on. Forever and ever amen. It isn't. No one is by themselves when they are searching for this epiphanic moment. You are never alone and can't ever be surrounded. You are simply searching for a missing person--a person who, perhaps, never existed to begin with.--
